Blue and White Monday at The Pink Pagoda

Happy Monday! Did everyone have a good weekend? Mine was a little stressful, it started with a couple of trips to the emergency vet when one of my kitties swallowed a staple. The vet says there's a good chance it will pass naturally, which I'm hopeful for since scoping it out of her wasn't an option and surgery would be terribly invasive and only recommended if absolutely necessary. The little one is being monitored very closely and so far I don't think she's passed it, but she's been very energetic and eating well, no signs of pain or discomfort, so hopefully this will work itself out. I will take her in for a follow-up X-ray just to be sure, though. I was also busy this weekend pulling my home office together for the big reveal later this week. I only have a couple of finishing touches to add to the space, but for the most part it's pretty much done! Trust me, you are going to love it. But that will be posted on Thursday. For now, let's get on with our Monday.

Today is Blue and White Monday over at The Pink Pagoda. Jennifer of TPP hosts a Blue and White Bash linking party the first Monday of every month, and this month I was invited to participate. Even though blue is my favourite colour I don't really have any existing blue and white themed posts to look back on. So instead, I scrolled through the hundreds of photos that I've taken over the last year that are saved on my iPhone and found the following that I want to share.

1. This gorgeous willow patterned china from HomeSense that I regret not buying when I saw it:

2. This south of France-inspired table setting on display at the Indigo Spring/Summer 2014 media preview:

 3. Urban Barn's blue and white booth at the Interior Design Show (January 2014):

4. These ikat ottomans I saw at HomeGoods when I was in NYC a few weeks ago:

5. Lastly, I recently purchased this toile de jouy duvet from IKEA - it was a great deal, only $19.99:

If you're a fan of blue and white, head on over to The Pink Pagoda to see what the other linking participants have shared.

Thanks for having me in the Blue and White Bash, Jennifer!
