Toronto Fashion Week Day 2: Bustle Clothing

Shawn Hewson and Ruth Promislow, founders of Bustle Clothing, presented their spring/summer 2018 collection on Day 2 of the newly revived Toronto Fashion Week last week. It was a high-energy runway show that featured regatta-inspired looks for men, women and children that were playful and casual and high on style. Bustle shows are always fun to see - Shawn and Ruth don't take themselves or their collections too seriously, and this mood is reflected in the models as they walk the runway, smiling and having fun. As Shawn said when we caught up with the designers after the show, "We just do what we want." Yes, that's the spirit! Shawn and Ruth's collection are all about having fun, and they believe that fashion should be used to reflect your mood or change your mood.

Some familiar faces were seen on the Bustle runway - supermodel Stacey McKenzie and the Mulroney twins! See a few of the looks captured from the sidelines below.
